for elementary students
(and BIG KIDS, too!)

What is an E-sheet?

An E-sheet or electronic worksheet is a tool that elementary teachers can use to focus their students' research on the Internet. The students visit a web page that has been pre-selected by the teacher.  They use information literacy skills to answer research questions about the topic on a one or two page worksheet that goes along with a web page.

This activity meets Alabama Technology Course of Study Standards.  For a list of these standards that are met when doing an e-sheet, go here.

This type of activity will also align with the Alabama Course of Study in other subject areas such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Check out ALEX: Alabama Learning Exchange for online access to the courses of study.
