Elementary Technology Teachers

A Technology Integration Professional Learning Project
Sponsored by the University of Alabama In-Service Education Center and
Technology in Motion





Overview of Program
The Elementary Technology Teachers project is a professional learning group made up of 17 teachers from grades K-5 from the Tuscaloosa City and Tuscaloosa County Schools.  This group will meet four times during the school year to learn how to integrate technology successfully in the K-5 classroom.  They will create technology lesson plans and projects that can be used in their classrooms.  They will also provide support for other teachers in their school who want to integrate technology into their classrooms. Goals for 2002-2003
1. To learn new technology skills in a supportive environment
2. To discuss technology problems and issues and come up with creative solutions
3. To develop technology lesson plans which are aligned with the Alabama Course of Study in Technology Education
