What is a Web Quest?

A web quest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet.  These resources are preselected by the teacher.  There are two kinds of web quests: 1.Short term projects that take from 1 to 3 class periods and 2. Long term projects that can take a week to a month to complete.Check out the complete Web Quest description here. And check out this diagram from Spartanburg City Schools.
