aside time during the week for students to work at the computer to type
their group's list.

Using
computer and MS Word, type words from your group's list in large type to
post on word wall.

Provide
drawing paper and art supplies for students to illustrate a word from the
book and define it.

Choose
a word from the book and draw it plus add the definition on the page.
|

Day
8
Give
oral vocabulary test on words from the book.
|
Write
the correct spelling and definition of the words from the book on a test.
|
|
Day
9
Help
individual students choose a word to dress up as in the Vocabulary Parade.
|
Choose
a word that they would like to dress as for the Vocabulary Parade.

Notes:This activity would be ideal in a classroom with 4 or 5 computers.However, it could be managed with one or by using a lab setting.In a lab, all students could be responsible for typing one word for the word wall.
