Introduction:
The State of Alabama adopted a new Technology Course of Study for grades K-12 in February 2002 for implementation in the fall of 2003.  These state standards are based on the National Education Technology Standards or NETS for Students.  This workshop will give you ideas on how to use technology in the K-12 classroom and help you create technology-based lesson plans using the new state standards and the NETS for Students.

State of Alabama Technology Course of Study can be found here.  A copy of the State Department of Education's Technology Utilization Pilot program can be found at http://www.alabamapepe.com/wspilot.htm#Technology%20Utilization%20Pilot
